Trade terms & conditions

1. Who we trade with

The STB Trade Portal is a trade-only service for companies registered at Companies House (private limited companies and public limited companies). We do not supply consumers, sole traders, or private individuals through this service. By applying, you confirm you are authorised to act for the company named in your application.

2. Your account

Accounts are approved at our discretion following our internal checks. You are responsible for the people you invite to order under your company account — orders they place are placed on your company’s behalf and on its credit line.

3. Credit terms

Where we agree to open a credit account, invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless we agree otherwise in writing. Credit limits and credit terms are set and may be varied or withdrawn by us at any time. Where a credit account is not agreed, orders are supplied on a proforma (payment before release) basis. We may charge interest and compensation on overdue amounts in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. We may suspend supply while any amount is overdue.

4. Retention of title

Goods remain the property of WBYS Limited until paid for in full. Until then you hold them for us, must store them so they are identifiable as ours, and we may require their return.

5. Orders, prices and delivery

All prices are trade prices, exclusive of VAT, which is charged at the applicable rate. Orders are subject to stock availability. Delivery charges and thresholds are shown at checkout. Risk in the goods passes on delivery.

6. Returns

Business-to-business supply — statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply. Faulty goods will be repaired, replaced or credited in line with your statutory business rights. Please contact trade@stb.co.uk before returning anything.

7. Data

We process the information you give us to assess and operate your trade account — see our privacy notice.

8. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. These terms, together with any credit agreement we issue, are the entire agreement for portal trading.
